Acceptance of Previous Minutes from July 9, 2013 meeting
-Beth makes a motion to accept, Jen second
-All in favor (6-0)
Discuss Bylaws written by Subcommittee
-Beth Potvin concerned with 3 members of the Committee on the Subcommittee
-Beth concerned about the 3 consecutive meetings
-Concerns with need to include family illness as exceptions
-Rebecca makes motion to present the bylaws as written to the board as written, Jen second

Planning Subcommittee Report- Rebecca
-Concert in September, Spooky Run, Movie Night in November, December Mother-Son Dance, Family Skate January, Father-Daughter Dance in February, Family Bowling March, Easter Egg Hunt April (maybe a community service day also), Mother Daughter Tea in May, Father-Son event/tournament June, concerts during the summer
-other ideas book club, cooking class for toddlers, sewing/knitting
- Spooky run info, Saturday October 26th

-free program for girls at high school for 5 towns put on by the travel team for grades 3-8
-update on basketball clinics
Safe Place Update- Katelyn
-40 registered children already
Recreation Director Updates- Kelly
-online registration happening!
-pool will close August 23th
-Lego camp going on 10 in morning, 19 in afternoon
-Summer fun/pool numbers to come
